I sketched this for my best friend's birthday. It's based on the scene from Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, in which Legolas returns to Aragorn the Evenstar, which he lost falling off that cliff...
Lord of the Rings belongs to New Line/Peter Jackson, etc. etc. Don't sue me...please...?

I always try to comment on work that moves me emotionally--even without the artist comments, it does that. The two hands, the gentle and unapologetic way they touch communicates so much--it's a beautiful piece. Very nice shading, too--lots of volume here. Nice, nice work.
